The below ranking will be applied to our Rank Leaderboards to determine tiebreaker scenarios for the ESEA point and CS:GO skin prizes. Please note that the website may not visibly reflect these tiebreakers but they will be used in order to award the prizes. This is only used for Rank Leaderboards and not for 1v1 ladders, Rank S, League etc.
- The most important factor is total number of points as displayed on the rank leaderboard. For example if one player has 2001 points and another has 2000 points then the player with 2,001 is awarded the stronger standing. If two players are tied exactly on points then it will go to the next tiebreaker, 2.
- Next, the player with the least number of games played is considered the higher standing. For example if one player has 5 games played and one has 4 played then the competitor with 4 is considered the better player as they have achieved the same overall point standing in fewer matches. Only fully completed games will count toward the standing, ie the total number of games shown on the statistics section of your profile. If that does not resolve the tiebreaker then we proceed onto 3.
- Highest average ADR in the month where the prizes were won. Ie, a player with 120 ADR would win the tiebreaker and be given the better prize over someone with 118 ADR. If that does not resolve the tiebreaker then we go to 4.
- Random coin toss by staff member to decide tiebreaker. Players will receive an ESEA private message with the result.
