In order to obtain a team name or tag that is currently being used by an inactive roster please open a Support ticket on the ESEA website linking to the team page whose name/tag you would like to use.
We will allow you to take that team name/tag provided that the roster currently does not have any active Premium or League Pass members still on the roster.
Organisations may overrule this by opening a support ticket where they will be asked to provide proof of ownership of that organization's name that the ESEA team page is using.
ESEA reserves the right to protect legacy rosters such as Invite/Pro League/staff roster names in order to prevent players taking these names with the intention of misleading other members of the community.
I want to use a team name/tag but it is already taken by an inactive roster. How can I use that team name/tag?
