We’ve chosen a ranking system that is easy and familiar to everyone to make it as simple as possible to determine your position in the ESEA ecosystem.
The letter grade on your profile shows your rank. After playing a series of placement matches (five matches), you will be placed into your initial rank -- A, B, C or D. Each rank has two additional subsets, the “+” and “-” (For example, there is A+, A, A-).
When you play a PUG, the result, a win or loss (not the W/L stat), will give you the opportunity to rank up or rank down. You will not rank up after a set number of wins as a variety of factors are used to determine how significant the win was.
